Yesterday I watched a small bird, flying very fast,
disappear into the canopy of an oak tree. So dense
were its leaves that it was impossible to see what
happened next, though I can tell you it remained
inside.
I wondered how the little bird found its opening
through the leaves at such a speed, and then
managed to gently align its fragile body on the branch
it chose to land upon, all within a fraction of a second.
Not to mention the impossible to imagine flying
maneuvers required: the banking, the curling, the
vertical and horizontal stabilizations, the deceleration
and landing.
Memory? Calculation? Not in that tiny brain. Instinct?
Maybe, but how does instinct know which way the
branches of a tree have grown when no two are the
same?
Friend, that little
bird just knew. It had faith, in spite of not being able
to see how things would work out, that if (and only if) it
stayed the course the details would be taken care of;
that an opening would appear and a twig would be
found. In fact, had she slowed down enough to
carefully and logically inspect the tree first, the prudent
thing to do, she would have lost her lift and fallen to
the ground.
Kind of like reaching for your dreams. Neither
memory, nor calculating, nor instincts are the deciding
factors, but faith coupled with action.
Do you feel the wealthiest person on Earth lately? I do, and I will share with you the secret key to this incredible feeling in this letter.
One of my clients, Joe, is a young multi-millionaire (he sold his business at 29 years old and retired!) and even though he had all the money in the world and all the material possessions you can imagine, he had been truly unhappy for several years after retiring.
After spending a few years watching TV and having the wrong friends around, one day he was walking on the beach and he got a realization, a spiritual awakening and has since turned his life around. He is now on his quest for real wealth in his life.
When I asked him what he was missing the most, he told me that it was the lack of love in his life.
Love is the key, and I know, listening to him that Joe is already on his way to true wealth. He has found the enlightened millionaire way:
He is learning to give --not only money, but knowledge, support, and love to others. He wants to help millions become truly wealthy. And this is how he will become truly wealthy too!
There is no better feeling in the world than the feeling of love, of giving just for giving, with no strings attached!
And the more you give, the more the universe gets the message that you are truly wealthy and that you really have no limits, and therefore your world begins to reflect that.
Not only in material possessions, but in what no amount of money in the world can buy: a world of people around you that give you without limit knowing that there is plenty to go around, and you giving to them in the exact same way.
I can tell you that since I made the decision to give without ever letting any thought of 'expecting something in return' come to my mind, I have never been so happy.
And my world has never been so rich in people (dozens now) who are truly brothers and sisters in the heart who are part of the enlightened millionaire network and who have truly let go of any beliefs of lack.
On the contrary, they have fully embraced the beliefs that: There is more than plenty to go around. The more you help someone succeed the more you succeed The more you give the more you receive. And there are just no more ecstatic moments than feeling that love.
Living in a world of generosity and support is truly like living in paradise. When you begin doing just that you will discover a world that you never knew was possible.
Living in a world where there are no more ideas of lack, so that giving is natural and everyone gives and helps the other succeed so that together we all grow is true paradise.
How do I create that world around me? You may wonder.
To attract a world of people who love and support you beyond your wildest dreams begin by giving without letting any thought of 'expectation of return' come to your mind.
Know that you always have all you ever need. Know that there is more than enough for everyone. Know that the more you love, the more you receive love.
Do not wait for the results, just begin today. Send this energy around you and your world will soon begin to reflect it.
Let go of when, forget about the result you will get, and just enjoy giving, it is the most addictive feeling on earth. There is no greater and more powerful feeling than love.
Once you have tried it, you will never stop!
You already are the wealthiest person on Earth! The only thing that separates you from this feeling is memory. Release any thought of lack/memories and you will find true love and pure abundance behind it all!
There will always be people in your life, my friend, who hold you back,
who cost you too much, and who fail to see all you've
done for them. But, of course, they're just there to
teach you that you do have time, that you'll always be
rich, and that your own high standards are all that
matter.
The paradox of our time in
history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider
Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less.
We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time.
We
have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment,
more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We
drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little,
drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read
too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life.
We've added years to life not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor.
We conquered outer space but not inner space.
We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice..
We write more, but learn less.
We plan more, but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait.
We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships.
These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes.
These
are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one
night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from
cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom.
A
time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you
can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...
Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember,
say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that
little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember,
to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only
treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember,
to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of
all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from
deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.
Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
